Károly Gink: With respect to Bartók

The Hungarian Museum of Photography organises an exhibition in the Hungarian House of Photography from photos of the internationally recognised photographer, Károly Gink (1922–2002). The collection to be presented will follow the core of the series of events of Spring Festival, which were aimed at commemorating Béla Bartók (1881–1945). We considered, that on this occasion from the plain oeuvre bought by the Museum in 2004 we would exhibit the pictures, which in groups have a title of: Variations for Bartók’s plays, and Microcosmos.

We would like to organise the exhibition from these showpieces, as well as from up to present unknown photos, which remained in the bequest of the photo-artist. This is going to be new and exciting even for those, who know the abovementioned series.
