The images in the collection of the Hungarian Museum of Photography, from the first prints of the 1840s to the ones of today, are also put in thematic order. Through this system it is possible to find any picture within few minutes.

Naturally, the photographic museum does not give out any original prints of the archive, but takes up short-term deadline orders for black-and-white or colour, print-ready copies, digitised copies on cd or online, supplemented with shorter or longer captions, with studies if recommended.

The selectable topics reach from nude photographs to boyscout images, from prison shots to humorous ones, from family albums to genre photographs. Portraits of celebrities, photographs on various means of transportation, folklore, ethnical pictures, city and landscape photographs are all equally represented in the archive.

The museum distributes its pictures, fully observing their copyrights.
