Documents and the other side? Our exhibition has two ways to watch. Those that are not interested in
theories and different ideas will see a selection of 100 nice, interesting, funny or even nostalgical
photos taken by famous Hungarian artists from the middle third of the 20th century, like Miklós Rév,
Marian Reismann, Ernő Vadas. While people being more interested in photography can witness proving a
theory. I assume - followed by many others - that at the moment of exposure a photo is not yet filled
with its total extension and meaning, but it has to go through a series of continuous development and
changes that it can show its real interpretation. This makes a photo always be important for somebody
in different times.
The exhibition is trying to prove this theory. But of course it is an open debate.
